A peek at my travel journal

Posted by Carrie Giacolone on

Whenever I travel, I make a handmade journal to capture the details of our trip. This time, when we planned to go to Washington to visit our son, Kiel, I made two; one for us and one to leave with him. When we travel, we get very busy during the days but in the evenings when we all settle in, that's the best time for me to catch up on my travel journaling. I have a Polaroid Zip printer that I bring with me to print photos to add, which I love.

The journal in the photos below is one of my favorites that I have made so far. I love the addition of transparent watercolor marks and flowers. I tried to do the whole journal in a certain color palette, which I also love.
This is a hand bound, hand made journal with three signatures inside.

If you'd like to learn how to make a journal like this one, step by step in a video, leave me a comment below and I will put a lesson together to share my process with you.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day.
