This is Frank. He was made to commemorate one great dog's life...
Ted and I met Suzanne in Pagosa Springs. She began a conversation with us about a custom piece she would like to have. She said that she lost her dog, Frank, a long-haired Daschund, and that she would like to have a sculpture of him made. Ted and Suzanne determined the scope of the project and the details. We gave her our card and heard from her a couple of months later. She sent us photos of Frank so that we could begin the project. Here are a few photos of the process of making the sculpture:
Next, paint was added:
Then the fun part, we delivered him to Suzanne.
She was very pleased with her little pal. This is a surprise birthday gift for her husband in mid-September. We will see if she can keep him a secret until then!
